1. Data controller
Movop is a personal finance app for iOS. For privacy questions, write to themadur@gmail.com.
2. What data we collect
Movop stores your financial information (transactions, budgets, categories) locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, that data is stored privately in your own iCloud account using Apple's services.
- Financial data: transactions, amounts, categories, and budgets you enter manually or capture via the Shortcuts automation.
- Preferences: language, appearance, and settings stored on your device.
- Biometric authentication: Face ID is used only to unlock the app on your device; Movop does not receive or store biometric data.
- Purchases: Apple handles payments through StoreKit. We do not receive card data.
- Advertising: we show third-party ads through Google AdMob. If you allow tracking (App Tracking Transparency), an advertising identifier may be used to show more relevant ads.
3. System permissions
Movop requests notification permission to alert you when you're approaching a budget limit, and optional biometric access to protect app access.
4. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your financial information. Google AdMob may process advertising identifiers according to its own privacy policy, only if you allow tracking. Apple processes purchases and, if enabled, iCloud sync.
5. Retention and deletion
Your data stays on your device (and in your personal iCloud if sync is enabled). You can delete the app and all its data at any time from iOS Settings.
6. Children
Movop is not directed at children under 13.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The review date will be indicated on this page.
