1. Data controller
Sweep is a Mac disk cleanup and analysis app. For privacy questions contact themaddur@gmail.com.
2. What we collect
Sweep does not collect or upload your file contents to external servers. Analysis runs locally on your Mac.
- Local data: paths, sizes, and metadata of files you choose to scan.
- Preferences: app language and subscription/promo state stored on your device.
- Purchases: Apple handles payments through StoreKit. We do not receive card details.
3. System permissions
To scan user folders, Sweep may request file access you explicitly grant. It does not access data outside that scope.
4. Third-party sharing
We do not sell or share your personal data. Only Apple processes subscription transactions under its own policies.
5. Retention and deletion
Data stays on your Mac. You can remove the app and its preferences anytime from System Settings.
6. Children
Sweep is not directed at children under 13.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The revision date will be shown on this page.
